About GigHub News

GigHub News is the reporting desk of GigHub. We cover live music in Nepal from the load-in door outwards: the rooms, the people who run them, the acts filling them and the money moving underneath it all.

How the desk works

GigHub News is the reporting side of GigHub, the platform venues and artists in Nepal use to fill their diaries. The two run separately on purpose: the listings sell tickets, the desk reports on the rooms selling them, and no story here is bought.

We publish five things: reviews of nights we actually attended, reporting on the business of live music, interviews that run long, practical writing about gear and production, and coverage of the festival season from the production office rather than the photo pit.

What we will not do

We do not run press releases as articles, we do not take payment for coverage, and we do not review a night we did not stand in. When a venue or promoter is a GigHub customer and appears in a story, the story says so.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, write to news@gighub.com.np and we will correct it at the top of the article with the date of the change.
